Golfer of the Year scoring system: Winners of major competitions such as Medals or the Captain’s Prize receive 20 points while the player coming 20th receives one point. Winners of weekend qualifying competitions receive five points with the player in 5th place receiving one. Members will be restricted to using their 12 best results in ordinary weekend competitions for points in the competition.
