Club History

Club BarBallinascorney Golf Club, founded in 1971 in Bohernabreena in County Dublin, started as a nine-hole golf course. Spending thirty years at the original site, we moved to the current golf course in 2001 where the Fetherston family welcomed the members. A long-term licence is now in place.

Our golf club, which despite its recent re-location, has a vibrant membership. Our new clubhouse was opened in December 2002. Deputy Tom Kitt, TD, Minister of State at the Department of An Taoiseach & Government Chief Whip, performed the Official Opening Ceremony. It provides excellent facilities for Members and Visitors e.g. modern locker rooms, bar and catering. Future plans include drainage of the golf course, bridge building, tree planting, etc.
